Diggers and dumpers work as a pair. Hire both together and we will quote the combination - it is almost always the more economical way to run a groundworks job, and it means one call, one delivery, one supplier.
Operated or self-drive - your choice
Every machine can be supplied with an experienced, qualified operator, or on a self-drive basis if you have a competent operator of your own.
If you hire self-drive, you are responsible for ensuring whoever uses the machine is trained, competent and appropriately insured, as required under PUWER. We will ask to see the relevant [CPCS / NPORS] card and confirm your insurance before the machine leaves us - it protects you as much as it protects us.
Daily or hourly rates
We hire by the day or by the hour, so you only pay for what you need. Short job? Take it hourly. Full week of groundworks? A daily rate will work out better. Tell us the job and we will quote the most economical option.
24-hour service, 7 days a week
Plant problems rarely happen at convenient times. We answer the phone around the clock, every day of the week, and we respond fast. Weekend groundworks, an urgent dig, a machine needed first thing Monday - call us and we will sort it.

Will a mini digger fit through my garden gate?
Our 1-tonne mini digger passes through small gaps, which cover most standard gateways and side accesses. Send us a photo or measurement of your access and we will confirm before we book you in.
Do I need a licence to hire a digger?
Not a driving licence, but if you hire self-drive you must be competent to operate the machine, and we will ask to see the appropriate [CPCS/NPORS] card. If you would rather not, we will supply an operator with the machine.
Can I hire a digger and dumper together?
Yes, and most groundworks jobs need both. Hire them together and we will quote the pair.
How quickly can you get a machine to me?
