Our Commitment to Accessibility

PM Group Access & Building is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of technology or ability. We want everyone who visits our site to find it clear, easy to navigate and simple to use, whether you're looking to hire an access platform, arrange scaffolding, or enquire about our roofing and building services.

We aim to meet the internationally recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 to Level AA, which set out how to make web content more accessible to people with a range of needs, including visual, hearing, motor and cognitive impairments.

What we've done

We have designed and built this website with accessibility in mind. Steps we take include:

• Using clear, straightforward language wherever possible

• Structuring pages with proper headings so they can be navigated logically, including with a screen reader

• Providing descriptive alternative text for meaningful images

• Maintaining sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds for readability

• Ensuring the site can be navigated using a keyboard as well as a mouse

• Building a responsive layout that adapts to different screen sizes and devices

 

Ongoing improvement

 

We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-off task. We continue to review and improve the site over time, and we test key pages against recognised accessibility standards as part of that work. Some older content, documents or third-party features may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA, and we are working to address these where we can.
